CELLAR SYSTEMS

Aged Cedar Custom.

Western red cedar, aged. Silvered, mottled, quietly weathered.

Aged Cedar Custom Wine Cellar Racking.

Aged cedar is the same western red cedar, given time. An aged treatment draws the timber forward into a patina it would otherwise take decades of weather to reach — silvered and pewter-toned, mottled, shifting between tones across a single length. No two boards read the same, and that’s the appeal.

The result is a designer’s timber. It carries the warmth and the scent of cedar, but the colour sits back — soft, muted and unmistakably natural, which is why it settles so easily into contemporary interiors where a raw or dark timber would shout. It looks like it has always been there.

A patina is not a colour, it’s a range. Aged cedar mottles and shifts across the grain — the timber holds the look of decades of weathering, without moving another inch.

A cellar that looks its age, for wine that needs to reach its own.
