Commercial Racking Systems

Commercial Wine Racking.

Wine walls, wine cabinets and adapted racking, climate controlled — built for display and point of sale.

Built for

Racking that has to sell as well as store.

Commercial wine racking is any of our racking styles adapted for a commercial setting — the same systems, with the design focused on displaying wine for point of sale and viewing.

Wine lockers turn a room into an amenity. Individual lockable cabinets within a climate-controlled cellar, each one allocated to an apartment or a member, with a tasting area alongside. Residents get proper storage for a collection they have nowhere else to put; the building gets a genuine point of difference.

Wine walls are the same idea on a full face — a wall of climate-controlled wine rather than individual cabinets. The build suits restaurants, wine shops and retail outlets, where the wall is as much display and point of sale as it is storage.

Each locker is a timber cabinet with a lockable door and pull-out bottle shelves, typically stacked two cabinets high. Faces can be solid or mesh, and can be made in any timber to suit the room. The climate system is designed to run through the full bank of cabinets rather than cooling each one individually, or the room is conditioned and the cabinets breathe with it.

Access is normally keyed to the apartment key, or set up with coded or fob entry.

This is an en-masse system. We design and supply full locker installations for apartment developments, clubs and members’ cellars. We don’t make one-off cabinets.

Where a residential cellar is aesthetic and personal, commercial racking is built to display wine and to sell it.
